"16th sub" and "32nd sub" beams don't work across measures
Selecting a "16th sub" or "32nd sub" beam across a measure makes the selected note start a new beam, as demonstrated in the enclosed file. This occurs in v.3.3.4.

I was never stating that the continuous beam doesn’t work - rather, the “sub beams” located to the right of the “no beam” option don’t.

Sorry for not having understood your question correctly: My poor understanding of English, probably....
But now that I have understood correctly, I confirm what you are saying. Moreover, even if these sub beams are produced in an earlier version (here 2.3.2) and after registration they are opened with 3.3.4 they are not reproduced. sub16xbarMS2.mscz
