I've been trying to solve this problem for long and have no clue why this is happening. Also, MuseScore 2 for some reason is not working as well (stucks at splash screen). So far the software can only start with -s option, but this is not an acceptable solution because I need to hear the sound while scoring.
The system is Windows 10, the latest public build (18363.535). I think it might be a problem with some of the sound interfaces I have but even if I disable/disconnect all the sound interface it is still a no go.

If it works using -s this means something is wrong with your sound system

But everything else, including all my DAWs and media players, work all fine.
