MuseScore 3.36 Not Yet Compatible With Apple Catalina OS 10.15; Scores Do Not Open on 16" MacBook Pro

Acquired new MacBook Pro 16" laptop last Tuesday, Dec 19, 2019. Installed MuseScore 3.36 next day and then transferred some of the mcsz files I had created with that same edition on my Windows 10 computer over to MacBook via Google Drive. Could not get past the note, see attached screen capture, that Apple has not yet "caught up" to this software in terms of feeling it is safe enough to open in a 10.15 Mac OS Catalina platform.
