add a single stave in choir score
I created choir score (SATB) and like to include a single stave for a solo part (G clef but different transpositions; e.g. trumpet, clarinet)

Press I and add Trumpet or Clarinet or whatever.
Fill the notes, then use "Hide empty staves (and maybe also don't use "Don't hid empty staves in first system")
