Note input behaviour on ver. 3.4.1.25011
Hi there,
Just updated to ver. 3.4.1.25011 and the note input behaviour is driving me crazy. I'm writing drum notation using two voices and the way note input behaves tries to default everything to voice 1, massively slowing down the process of putting cymbals on voice 1 and drums on voice 2.
Does anyone know how I can configure note input to behave like the previous version?
Thanks in advance,
Louis

No, there is none, except to fall back to 3.3.4. See also https://musescore.org/en/node/300139, and possibly #300160: Drum palette: clicking on staff sometimes enters note in wrong voice too.
There is https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/5648 to reinstate the old drum input method, most probably this or something similar will be in 3.4.2

Thank you for the fast reply, Jojo - seems to be a step backwards with the latest version but I'll fall back to the previous version.

Indeed, an unforeseen and unintended consequence of the single click improvements in 3.4, missed by Beta and RC testing... It's being worked at at high priority

I'm glad it's being addressed - I imagine it's a lovely feature for 1 voice compositions. However, for easy-on-the-eye drum scores, the old method was best.

You mean for 1 voice drum compositions I guess? This single click stuff is only an issue for drum input (so far at least?)

Sorry, yes - 1 voice drum compositions. In the meantime, how does one roll back to a previous version?

Uninstall 3.4.1, download and install 3.3.4.
Available from https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/releases/tag/v3.3.4, in your case the .dmg file
