Problem regarding hairpins in custom soundfont
Hello everybody.I want to use a new soundfont for my score and after changing the default in the synthesizer window , hairpins doesn't have effect on the current notes anymore but affect the next notes.I replaced them with new ones and changed the settings pertaining hairpin in the inspector and even reopened the score but the problem still persists.
The soundfont extension is .sf2
I use Musescore 3.4

Not all soundfonts support single note dynamics. It's possible the one you are trying might if you change the settings in View / Synthesizer / Dynamics. If you say which soundfont you are trying, maybe someone more familiar with that particular soundfont can advise better.

The problem was Sonatina symphonic orchestra soundfont has two instruments for cello : Cello and Cello Expr.
Switching to the latter solved the problem of dynamics.
