Managing Palettes and the Inspector

First of all, have used the software for several years and love it, simply love it, no complaints here. I do arranging for a jazz septet, 3 horns and rhythm and it is a super tool for that and getting new lead sheets transposed for singers...or horns... it is super.... so THANKS!

Problem:
Normally I have my palettes and the inspector placed at the right hand side of my screen and at they are stacked on top of one another with tabs at the bottom I select to pull the one up I need at the moment... I screwed something up and not I can't get them to stack one on top of the other with a half size tab at the bottom so I can select the one I want to use.
Help please....
