1) Open a score from file explorer.
Note: Musescore is not open yet and it can be any random score.
2) Select a random note.
Expected result: The note turns blue and the color on the voices panel lights up.
Actual result: The note stays black and the voices panel lights up as black.

Workaround is to revert to factory settings.
Urgent. Also turns black when you OPEN A SCORE FROM MUSESCORE.
Can't reproduce. And even if it is certainly is not critical at all

If you would like someone to investigate this, we would need you to attach the specific score you are having problems with, and precise steps to reproduce the problem.
As it is, my best guess is you changed your color settings in Edit / Preferenced / Advanced, and that's why reverting to factory settings fixed it. So do check those as well.
All scores create this problem. I did not change my color settings in Edit / Preferenced / Advanced.
Cluprit found. Colour settings were changed automatically.
