Color code notes
Hi, I already searched a few posts, but I didn't find the answer to my specific issue. I'm trying to color code notes with the "Color Notes" plugin, meaning I want all Cs to be red automatically, all Ds to be yellow, etc., but I can't seem to find a way to do this without having to manually select all of them after having written them down. Is this possible or am I out of luck?

If by "manually select", you mean manually pressing Ctrl+A to select them all at once, then yes, that is what you need to do. If you were trying to click them one at a time, that's almost never needed to select things. See gthe Handbook for more on the many ways of selecting things in MuseScore.
The plugin works on a selected range, or if nothing is selected on the entire score. It does not work on a list selection
