Tempo Issues/bug

There seems to be a bug in the Tempo settings. When selecting a tempo for example, applying the quarter note = 80 to a note and then changing the tempo of that note to another tempo, in my case quarter note = 100, the effect does not take place. It is not 100 as I've checked it against a real metronome.
