adding multiple ties in note entry simultaneously.
In the attached graphic. I have decided to tie another measure to several instruments. I can't figure out how to do this all at once. When I use Shift to select, then N for note entry, the program eliminates the selection. When I use Cntr click to select all the notes, same thing when I hit N. Is there a work around? thanks

Don't press "n".
Simply select the notes and apply the tie.

Yes thanks. But that presupposes the notes to be tied to are already there. What I'm hoping to do is take advantage of the feature in note entry where you highlight a note, choose a duration and click 'tie' and the tied note is added along with the tie, nice feature, btw. Right now I copy and paste the existing notes into the following measure, change the durations if needed, then select the copied-from notes and then choose 'tie'. I was hoping there was a way to do it in Note Entry with fewer mouse clicks. Perhaps a future feature?
Select all those notes, then click on a longer duration (for example whole note).
As that duration would spill over into the next measure, MuseScore will add the ties for you. Then if required select the added notes and update their duration as well.
