trouble changing time signature
I need to create a 5/8, a 2/8 and a 1/8 time signature for my piece. These are not shown in the Time Signature Pallette.
1)I open Time Signature, click "more", then attempt to further click "Create Time". That last click causes the program to close.
2) Another way I try is to enter "Shift T." Again the program closes.
3) My third option is to click on "Master Pallette" in the View box, which has worked for others in creating their own time signatures. Again the program closes!
There is some information I am missing, here. Can you explain this to me?

Try to see if the attachment works.
Which version of MuseScore are you using?
Have you tried https://musescore.org/en/handbook/revert-factory-settings ?
What version of MuseScore, and what OS? Works fine for in the current version (3.4.2) on both Windows and Linux, and I know others use it on macOS. So be sure to update if not on that already. If that doesn't fix it already, then try the revert to factory settings as mentioned - could be something corrupt on your time signature palette currently.
