Musescore2&3

I purchased Musescore2 and the book Mastering Musescore 2
Since then I have downloaded Musescore3. I also payed $25 for the instructional video witch I assume is for use with Musescore 2. Can I use the same instructional video with Musescore3. John Heaslip.

First and foremost:
You never have to pay anything for the MuseScore notation software. It is and always will be entirely free.

I also don't know which instructional video you're referring to; the musescore 2 video tutorials linked here are all free as well. Perhaps you're referring to a tutorial from https://masteringmusescore.com/ ? If so, I believe most of these should've been updated to MS3 if the differences are big enough to warrant a change.

If you're talking about a different resource, then chances are it is not an official or endorsed thing.

Assuming you mean my Mastering MuseScore course, then yes. While the course was originally developed for MuseScore 2, everything is updated for MuseScore 3, and I have continued to update it for the further changes in 3.1, 3.2, etc. A couple of recent things I haven't done yet as I am awaiting further changes to come in MuseScore 3.5.
