guitar tablature ques
hey folks
quick ques - lets say i want to change the auto-tab that musescore creates from the notes i created on a standard treble clef staff - maybe i dont like the fingering.
Is there a shortcut to 'move' a note from one string to another and musescore auto-updates the tab with the adjusted fret? For example - i highlight a '3' on the g string, and want it to be an '8' on the d string (they both have the same note value - Bb). When i try this now - by highlighting the '3' and 'paste' it onto the d string, it always shows up as fret zero.
I would much prefer it if it kept the note values the same, and auto adjusted to the corrected fret (or, if that was not default behavior, a shortcut that allows that would be fabulous)
thanks! any help much appreciated. I've taken to doing virtual guitar lessons and this would be a huge time saver for me to prep material.

In this case ( 3 g string to 8 d string), do: Ctrl + down arrow.
See different shortcuts for editing notes/fret marks - in input or normal modes : https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tablature#edit-notes
