Replacing 4 16ths notes with an 8th note triplet

• Apr 29, 2020 - 21:38

Hi! I'm new to musescore and I'm loving it so far. But there's a problem when I try to replace a group of notes with a triplet.

I have this piece already written

I want to change this section
2.PNG

Into something like this
asd.PNG

This is as close as i've gotten:

But, It's impossible to delete those rests

When I try to change some of the durations, the program just deletes some notes.

I hope there's a solution to this. Thank you in advance!

Have a look to the Hand Book https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tuplets
when you want to enter a triplet, you must start with a note or a rest of the lenght you want.
If you want to get a triplet with a lenght of 1 time, you must start with a lenght of 1 time, either a note , a quater note, or a rest, a rest of 1 time. You tape CTRL+ 3 on the note or the rest, andyou have your triplet, and you enter the notes you want . If you want a triplet of 3 quater notes instead of a "semi-whole note" during 2 times, you must start with a note or a rest of 2 times, and tape CTRL + 3
