April 29 2020 MuseScore will not install on macOS Catalina 10.15.2. Most resent nightly build will not install, either. Catalina says "MuseScoreNightly" can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information. Safari downloaded this file today at 11:38 PM from prereleases.musescore.org.

I have tried right-clicking the application in the Finder. I do not get the option to open the application anyway.
I have searched the support and the forum, but I cannot find the solution.

Is there any way to get MuseScore to install onto my Mac?

Thank you for your reply. I have attempted to open the application as instructed in the FAQ, but I still end up blocked by Apple’s error message. Right-clicking on the application in the finder brings up a submenu with “Open” at the top. When I click on that “open,” instead of getting the usual question “are you sure you want to open this application,” I am taken to the original error message. I am not given the option of accepting the danger and proceeding anyway. Last evening, I attempted to install the most recent Nightly Build without success. Today I will try to install last night’s Nightly Build.
