Password Reset Not Working

I would like to change my email on my account, as the account that I am currently using is on a school google account that will be reset sometime in the summer. But, I have forgotten my password. This would normally not be an that big of an issue, but when I go to reset my password, the temporary login link is emailed to me, and then an error pops up that states that the link I used is not valid or has already been used before. Any thoughts on how to fix this or what could be happening?
