Newbie Cant get anything to score from Midi

Working home recording studio. Roland FP10 midi keyboard, Focusrite Scarlett 2X4, Ableton 10 Live. Cannot figure out how to get a note played on Roland to show up on score. My ill informed opinion is I cant find a start button. Who knows?
