That is a rather strange question, MuseScore version for macOS exist since some 10 years and are released at the same time as the versions for Windows and Linux.

Sorry about that. I was thinking about another program. It does read a good quality pdf. I've tried a few and not sure why its not reading them. I see Musescore has some pdfs. Do you know any other sites that have Readable pdfs for this program?

MuseScore doesn't read PDFs at all.
Audiveris does, that also is behind MuseScore's import PDF

Does it read the key signature or does the music have to have the sharps and flats built in. I'm new at this stuff as you could probably tell. It does look like a nice program.
