Home Key should make the 1st not have focus

• May 18, 2020 - 22:17

I am using Musescore 3.4.2.9788 on a Windows 10 computer. The Keyboard Shortcuts page (https://musescore.org/en/handbook/keyboard-shortcuts#score-navigation) lists the Home key as the shortcut for Beginning of Score. But when I click it, the last note I was editing retains the focus. Would it be possible to have the first note, at the Beginning of Score, to have focus. I can't see any reason to have it work otherwise.
Or is there some other key that does both?

There's actually a very important reaosn for Home and End not to select automatically - because a common use of these keys is to position the score near the begining or end in anticipation of then Shift+clicking to complete a range selection, which you might not want to literally go all the way to the beginning or end (if you gig, you could use Ctrl+Shift+Home/End.

Anyhow, Ctrl+Home goes to the beginning and selects the first score element, Ctrl+End does to same for the end.
