how can i put a line under a lyric
I was able to do it in version 2. 0 and now in 3.0 somehow its not allowing me to do it.
I want to put another line under the underlined words... but how?

Once you've entered the lyrics and are no longer in text edit mode, select them. Then press the underline text button in the Text section of the Inspector (F8)

Apologies.. read too quickly.
Depending on how you did it you could indeed resort to a 2nd verse of lyrics and underline those as well. Or add a plain "line" from the lines palette.
"put another line under the underlined words" so you want lyrics with 2 lignes under
How did you do it in MuseScore 2, and what goes wrong when you try it here? I would think this would depend on the font you are using, a font designed to support two underscores like that should presumably have a keystroke for it.
