When I play this file, it plays really slow, and sounds really bad at certain parts. If I copy any part of this piece into a different file, the same thing happens to that other file.

Can you explain the problem in more detail? The tempo is marked 88 bpm, and that's the speed it plays for me. I also didn't hear any obvious problems, bt maybe there is a specific measure I should start from in order to hear problems? Also, what version of MuseScore, what OS, and are you using any non-default soundfonts?
