How to join note heads of different durations across voices

As you can see in the attached picture, we have a 16th note on the top voice seamlessly joined to the half note on the bottom voice. Is there an easy way I can achieve this on Musescore? If I just try do to it, Musescore will separate the notes. I figure you can make one the note heads invisible and move it on top of the other, but I was wondering if there is a more official way of doing this.
