Inputting Chord symbols from XML file
Hello All:
I have had no success with this. There is a button somewhere, I found it once, and it didn't work. Does anyone have experience/success with this? I've attached the file

That file doesn't seem to contain chord symbols at a quick glance using a text editor?

In fact. The xml file contains the brazilian song named Carinhoso composed by Pixinguinha. It is a music xml

Which is entirely irrelevant to my point (and the one from Leon above).
MuseScore can only import things that actually exist in the MusicXML file.
The OP complains that we're not importing chord symbols, but his MusicXML file doesn't contain any; there is nothing to import in that regard.
MuseScore supports importing chord symbols from MusicXML out of the box. The attached file simply does not contain any.

Now I find out why it is D.Performer XML does not contain chord symbols.
Someone know off the top of your head where in M Score you input chord symbols?
