auto tablature
Sometimes when I open a midi file a seperate window appears with the score plus tablature filled in. This is not in the main page of score itself, but is a side panel window.
Is this feature that I can access to produce similar in other scores? And how does one accomplish this? I cant find a single reference for it. Thanks,

Your description does not really ring a bell, unless you might be referring to the "parts" feature: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/parts
But that doesn't really open as a "side panel window" to my knowledge.
