Download permission?
i had asked about this several months ago after getting some confusing notice about downloading. i sent a link to someone to download my score and he says he need to get a trial version of musescore to do so? is this possible? is this right??

There is no such thing as a trial version of MuseScore - it's always completely free. But in order to download scores from musescore.com, you do need to have an account on that site. It doesn't have to be "a "trial" account (trial of the paid Pro account), it can just be a totally free account.
That might happen when loading a score on a mobile device, iOS or Android, into the MuseScore mobile viewer App.
And may happen for downloads from musescore.com indeed, if the score is not marked as PD (public Domain) or Original Work.
