Guitar Tablature
Help.
I'm writing tab for guitar. I have thumb playing 6th string as a quarter note. I want also to have a finger play the 2nd string as a hammer-on using two 8th notes. However, I can't get the voices function to work and I can't put 2 8th notes above the one quarter note. Can you help, please?

WHat goers wrong, specifically when you try to use Voices as described in the Handbook - at which step does something happen other than what you expect? Best to attach your score and describe what you are doing step by step, then we can understand and assist better.
