When we do not want grace notes to play, a pause substituting those notes do sound and I do not like it. Listen to measures 14-17. Workaround, I guess. Leave the grace notes playing. They are acciaccaturas but actually appoggiaturas in a different form.
Also, when I clear the notes of voice two (press delete), the cresc. line disappears. Even though voice 2 is the only ticked box in selection filter, it still deletes the line. Ugh

Sorry, but I do not hear anything when I stop the grace notes from playing, but my hearing is not what it use to be. Also, exactly what measure are you talking about to clear the voice 2 notes. There are two measures that have voice 2. When I cleared the voice 2, the cresc. line did not disappear. I am using version 3.5RC, so maybe that is the reason. Your problem may be fixed in 3.5.
