Note highlighting in musescore

Does musescore have a feature or plugin to highlight notes? For example, If I wanted to turn every flat note in a piece blue, or every C yellow. I'd love something like this for my music students, and even myself. I'm sure its out there somewhere. If not, I might make a plugin myself. I have a background in software development. Help would be appreciated!
