About the near future 4.x version

Hi, gang!!!

I just hope that the new version 4.x will not to make any kind of compatibility problems with the today 3.x version files format (like we had with the 2.x to 3.x upgrading).

Just my hope.

It is nowhere "near future" at all and as such the impact of potential default layout fixes/changes is still unclear.
