After updating Windows ( 8 and 10) the midi interface stops working, although the computer says it's working normally. Musescore doesn't seem to be aware of the problem - no dialogue box etc.
What up?

I am experiencing a similar problem with version 3.5RC that I didn't experience with 3.4x. When I have my midi keyboard connected to my computer, Musescore will randomly (but more often than not) NOT load my midi settings (preferences -> I/O) when I start the program. The problem is that, oddly, my music will not play unless I reload my midi settings. I am not playing through my midi keyboard, I just like to have it connected. It is easy to reload midi, but an annoyance to do.

I'm experiencing a similar problem too. Whenever I try to set my MIDI input settings, MuseScore kind of "denies" that it has a MIDI keyboard connected to it.
However, whenever I manage to get a connection (somehow), I can only hear the notes that I'm pressing down on the MIDI keyboard when I have Note Input activated. Not when I'm playing a chord before activating Note Input to hear how it sounds. This was possible in MuseScore 2 and the earlier versions of MuseScore 3.
