Strange, added piano-like sound during playback of 1 song
I hear a strange, added off key piano-like sound during playback of 1 song.
It was not there when I last worked on it. How can I get rid of it?
I use Musescore, version 3.5.0.28537 on a Mac OS high sierra, version 10.13.6.
I'll upload the Muscore file of the song. I wanted to upload an Mp3 or wav,,
but these extensions are not allowed or the file too large.

The chords are being played back. There has been discussion about this lately as most users don't want it. Select >All Similar Elements, go into Inspector and untick Play.

But how is it possible that chords are being played, when I did not use any chord symbols?

It is not. No Chord symbols > no chord symbols playback

You are right, but I have not seen those symbols before in the score; I don't remember how I unknowingly added them, although I do remember trying to find out if some 'automatic chord analysis' (or something like that) works. But, that was quite some time ago, and I have worked on the score afterwards. So this chord playback was quite a surprise yesterday.
But I understand now that I should just disenable chord playback, or better even, remove the superfluous chords.

Chord playback was introduced in the last release. Apparently you haven't listened to it in version 3.5 before.

Thank you. I think I did listen to it in the last release, too. Also, there were no chord symbols visible; (how) is it possible to hide them?

You can sure hide them, but they would still play then
