It's best to try this out yourself – I can't upload a video of the bug.
When making the mixer smaller, first the lines of the Master-Gain-Slider get closer and closer together, then they eventually pass over each other, making the whole thing inverted.
I've tried to show this using screenshots, hopefully, it is somewhat clear what I mean:

An easy way to fix this whole thing might be to give the master gain a fixed height and make it scrollable, just as the instrument-channels next to it are.
This might just be a treatment of the symptoms instead of fixing the actual problem though... other opinions?
