  1. Open up the Advanced Style Properties from within the Staff Properties window.
  2. Try reducing the height.

Minimal height seems excessive for the given content. This might lead to less optimal experiences on smaller screens.

I guess you're looking at a standard staff? That's the necessary height for tab staves. Not sure if it's a great idea to have the dialog change size according to staff type, but it certainly could be considered.
