Expression Text
I would like my staff text to look different than my expression text, but I read in one of the posts they are both the same. Only the position of expression text is below the staff. This means every time I input an expression text and I would like it to look different than regular staff text (different size, different font, different style) I have to change its appearance in the inspector. Is there a way to make expression text look principally different than staff text?

They by default look different, so I'm not really understanding your question?

Not in size and not as far as font is concerned. I like my expression text to be bigger than regular staff text and to be printed Bold.

So change it then, Format > Style > Text styles > Expression
Or change one via Inspector and then use the Set to style button

Thanks, I was looking for that and I just didn't see it. Blindness! As to the second suggestion, I wasn't aware of that possibility and it is of course also an excellent feature.

To be clear though: expression text already is different by default: it's italic. As such, this is consistent with standard practice. Bold is normally reserved for tempo and a few other things, not ordinary expression text.
