.mscz file association not working in Win7
Hello (I'm new to this forum) When I click on a .mscz file nothing happens!! I'm invited to choose from a list of installed (registered) progams. However Musescore is not registered.
Is this an installation issue?

This should indeed normally be handled by the installer. Try going into the control panel to programs and features: find MuseScore in the list, click it, and run the repair option.
If that doesn't fix it, you can always manually set up the link from that application chooser you get after double clicking a file. If MuseScore isn't in the list, click the thing that lets you "browse" for other applications and navigate to "
C:\Program Files\MuseScore\bin\MuseScore3.exe".In the application chooser, now also check the box that says "use this application every time for this file type".
Yes, this got to be an installation issue. One of the rare case where a reinstall might actually help
