Key Signatures
In MuseScore 3.5.2, I try to drag a key signature onto the score, but it doesn't work. When I try to drag G major onto the score, that key signature disappears from the pallet (!) leaving an empty white space there. When I try to drag any other key signature onto the score, nothing at all happens.

I see now that time signatures present the same problem! I try to drag 3/4 to the score, but that time signature disappears from the pallet.
Select the measure, click on the time sig in the palette.
To get back the list palette entries reset the workspace in the corresponding menu

It does still, guess you droped it wrongly?
Dragging works about 95% of the time I'd say, but every once in a while if you do it "just so" and happen to move at the wrong speed or go too much vertically before moving horizontally or some other very specific motion, you can get the glitch you see, where it seems to disappear temporarily from the palette even though it's actually still there and reappears when closing / restarting the program or even just changing workspaces.
