I can confirm the crash (Windows 10)
When TAB staff is removed, no crash
or
When treble staff is removed, no crash
Last development version crashes too. Please put this into the issue tracker
Edit: thanks for #313042: Corruption in the parts if linked staff is added afterwards and leading to crash
In reply to Lasted development version… by Jojo-Schmitz
The part is completely corrupted (empty measures), hence the crash (here by changing note duration eg)
Probably these steps to reproduce:
1) New score for guitar, standard staff + enter a few notes first measure
2) Create parts
3) In main score, eg -> "I" -> Add a linked staff (standard or TAB)
You note this linked staff is not created in Part (from memory, not really intented for, or kind of a limitation, don't recall exactly)
4) In main score, select first measure (TAB or Standard + TAB) and copy-paste (or press R key a few times)
Result: corruption in part (empty measures, 0/1)
See (from step#3)
I note in version 2, the behaviour is the same (not linked staff in Part), but step #4 don't lead to corruption in part : notes are well copied-pasted in the single staff in Part
To avoid this currently in version 3, is to create parts after adding a linked staff.
@scorster...
I didn't notice at first, but why the need for a "part" in a score for solo guitar?
(Crash notwithstanding)

Good eye!
Apparently the Part was an inadvertent component of my newly created guitar template.
Thanks for pointing that out! Now that won't be following me around. Don't know how I created it as I haven't yet explored Parts in MuseScore.
