Is there a way to copy-paste Barre objects?
In my workflow I frequently copy and paste Staff Text and Fingering from one note to another. It's a time saving approach, partly because the pasted object remembers the relative position of the source object. (I don't know if this a condoned procedure but I see no negative impacts, and it does save lots of time.)
To my surprise I'm unable to copy-paste the Barre object from one note to another. This would be great because the Barre style I prefer requires some Inspector fiddling to produce custom dashed lines ... and I don't see a way to set an Inspector style for that.
Also when I manually create the desired Barre style in the treble clef the style of related Barre in a linked tablature staff is not updated to match. Though I want the tablature Barres to inherit this feature, I would also like the option to manually override the inheritance.

Mostly of lines (here the Barre text line) cannot to be yet copied/pasted.
But they can be duplicate, see: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/copy-and-paste#duplicate

Thanks for your reply.
You wrote that lines and Barres "cannot to be yet copied/pasted." This sounds like this has been requested or that it's in the works? Do you know if that's true?

The information at the provided link refers to a function I like to call "drag-copy." It says that on the Mac one can drag-copy text elements, lines, or other objects with Command-Shift drag.
Here on my Mac in MuseScore 3.5.2 Command-Shift drag does not copy objects such as text, lines, Barres fingerings. It merely marque selects, just like shift-drag, and I'm unable to discern if there's a difference between the two actions.
Also by norm, the option key modifier key for drag-copy on the Mac. Thus, by far, that would be the best choice for that feature.
Wondering if the documentation was incorrect I tried option-drag but that didn't copy anything. It merely marque selects.
I'd really like to see copy-drag functional. That would be MOST useful. And for the Mac I strongly recommend relegating the option key for invoking copy-drag.
