I've seen a few How-to questions on the MuseScore.org forum about placing chord diagrams in vertical frames. (Guitar Pro 7 has something like this for showing a collection of chord fingerings used in the piece.)

I'd like to officially request a way to add chord diagrams to vertical frame ... since the suggested workarounds on the forum seem cumbersome.

The result would be like: Right-click a frame and choose Add>Image and select an SVG object.

Ideally diagrams anchor points would locate at the lower left corner of the frame, like the way text objects anchor to the upper left corner. Or optionally the anchors locate to the center of the frame's lower edge allowing the scorist to center align the collection of horizontally "stacked" chord diagrams AND govern the margin between them.

MuseScore used to have a special fret diagram frame (some time during 2.0 development IIRC). The code still exists, but is currently disabled or rather not in use. Search for (the class) FBox...
