MuseScore 3.5.2 [Mac] Cant load saved style

I am unable to load saved style. I do everything as written in the manual https://musescore.org/ru/node/278570#save-and-load-style
I am using macOS Mojave 10.14.6
When I create a new score and want it to look like a saved style - I go to the Format tab - load the style, but it just won't open.
I keep the style as it is written in the manual. In the previous version of the program (2), I was able to do this. Not now.
