Changing beam direction for bass drum for entire project
Hello! I wrote an entire drum transcription with the bass drum and pedal hihat on voice 2 so the feet notations would be separated from the hands but now I want to change it so all the beams are the same direction and grouped together. I found at the very end, with more complicated hand and foot patterns, the rests look very sloppy and the whole thing would be better if it were all just grouped together. Is there a way to change this or do I have to write the entire piece over again?

It might be that you need to use Tools > Implode afterwards to actually merge them.
Indeed, Implode will merge the notes where possible, but I will also guess you have places where it isn't possible to do automatically, and you'll need to fix some things up yourself. Like, if you have two eighths in voice 1 but four sixteenths in voice 2, they can't be combined since the note values differ, but of course, in drum music, it's completely harmless to convert the eighths to sixteenths (note-rest-note-rest) and then they would combine just fine. So you'll probably need to do that kind of thing manually.
