musescroe 3.5.2 appimage crash when setting jack

I have been using this image since its realease, NO problem until today when I tried to chage the I/O settings to Jack and the app just crashes over and over again. I have tried also restoring default and the crash persists. I am running Fedora 32. Becasue it's an app image I am out of ideas of what to do to make this work again. I had no problem changing back and forth from pulseaudio to jack until today.

I have found some posts in the FORUM addressing a mscore2 similar problem none addressing the appimage of v 3.5.

any help will be appreciated.
