problem loading musescore v3+ using vista
Still using vista but can't load the latest version of musescore getting this message
the procedure entry point TRyAcquire SWRLock Exclusive located in the dynamic link library KERNAL32. could not be located
It could be that my machine is faulty but I have the score version 2 and it is working fine .
it is a great program.
Any help you can give is welcome. c.pearson

You will probably need to install from the Microsoft score but I'm not sure that will even work since Microsoft stopped supporting Vista. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/install-windows#install

The Microsoft Store is Windows 10 only as far as I know.
But indeed MuseScore 3 won't run on Windows XP or Vista anymore, it needs Windows 7 or later. Only Windows 8.1 and 10 are supported by Microsoft though
