Simple: you don't
Make the original invisible then Ctrl+t, enter as text. F2 (Special Characters), change size.

Well, also, different music fonts have different sizes/shapes of femerates, so if you're just looking for something slightly different, consider trying a different music font in Format / Style / Score.
