Noteheads playback
I have a question. Is it possible to make individual crosshead notes play back as a muted guitar other than by assigning those notes to a second voice? Any assistance is appreciated.

They don't need to be assigned to voice 2 but they need a Mid-staff sound change added to the notes. It's the same idea as pizz and arco described for violins except you use normal and mute channels on a guitar that supports the channels. The first muted note needs the staff text to change it to mute, then when you return to a non-mute note you need to put text and change the settings for normal playback. It may be necessary to put several sound changes in a measure at times.

There are 'muted' notes (having discernable pitch) and their are 'ghost' notes (percussive sound).
For muted, see the attached example here:

@Jm6stringer I just wonder: Because of this or similar requests, they're frequently asked, it's maybe your turn (if you want!) to create a corresponding "HowTo" (I think you or @cadiz or @geetar are more familiar with it than me;-)?
