I installed V 3.5.2. Now when I open it, it displays the main screen and then a moment later, before I can type anything, it vanishes.
I purchased a year subscription back in May 2020. HELP! I miss my MuseScore.

Assuming you are on WIndows, try rebooting, then either uninstalling and reinstalling (you won't lose anything) or else using the Windows "repair" facility. That should fix it.
BTW, note there is no subscription to the MuseScore notation software. Presumably you are referring to the score-sharing website musescore.com, but that's not relevant to installing or running MuseScore on your computer.
