Input a node sooner than it should be

This is a score i see on the internet:

let's look at the whole note. If i input that whole note, muscore will prevent me from input those notes (in red) to that position because the whole note covers 4 beats.
I can't figure out how to do exactly like that image. Can someone tell me which settings i have to change, or it's just impossible?
