I've had this issue with MuseScore 3.5 and now with 3.6
1) Start MuseScore 3.6.
2) Open a score - new or existing
3) Do a few things to the score that involve opening different modal dialog. e.g Inserting / appending bars, changing instruments, view preferences etc.
4) Close the dialogs
5) put the computer into "sleep mode", so that it powers down
6) Wake the computer up, and log in (if necessary)

Expected result: MuseScore is displayed where you left it. There are no empty dialog frames.

Actual result: MuseScore is displayed where it was left - even with unsaved edits etc. There are also empty frames of the dialogs that were opened. These can be moved out of the way, but are always on top. MuseScore does continue to function as expected, just with these extra dialog frame getting in the way. The only way to remove them is to close MuseScore and restart it.

nb: In the attached file I was editing the instruments for the score when the compter went into sleep mode, which is why it appears with all its details. You can also see at least 2 other dialog frames that have reamined. Behind this there were a few more as well!

What OS? This hasn't been reported by anyone else that I can recall, so the issue is probably connected to something specific to your system - your particular display drivers, some dynamic / shared libraries, etc. I guess I'd start by making sure you have the latest display drivers.
