Use of hyphen in entering lyrics in a Nordic keyboard

When entering a polysyllabic word in lyrics, pressing the hyphen key enters a hyphen and moves on to the next note. However, sometimes one wants to enter the hyphen without moving on to the next note. In some earlier MuseScore versions this has been possible by using Ctrl + Alt + hyphen, sometimes with just Ctrl + hyphen. In version 3.6.0, all you ever get is an underscore.
There is a clumsy work-around if one shifts the keyboard to US Keyboard and hunts for the hyphen/underscore key, and then shifts back to the normal keyboard. Or, I suppose, I can go back to 3.5.0.
